Designed around our dB (dual blade) humbucker, the sB (single blade) pickups provide a drop-in replacement single-coil pickup with a deeper sound and higher output than the original brighter and thinner pickups - particularly in the bridge position. The blade used in the pickup allows more options for different string spacing and better string-to-string balance thanks to its wider surface area. You’ll notice a stronger sustain and bloom to the note’s attack with a more vocal-like fundamental lower midrange reminiscent of a smooth PAF tone, rather than the usual glassy bright and scooped sound of a normal F style single-coil pickup.
