Featuring our larger Broiler pole piece magnets, the Super-Caster pickup set offers more dynamic range and output with extended harmonics and robust bottom end. You’ll hear a larger-than-life Strat tone that’s familiar, but feels bolder, and more exciting. Don’t let the DC Resistance numbers fool you. These are loud and proud. Harmonics sustain and linger past what conventional S single coil pickups offer, while still being able to clean up nicely with the dynamics of your strumming hand.

Something I forgot to mention in my review is how good the sustain is with these installed. It could be my imagination, but it sure seems like the sustain on my guitar is significantly better than what it was previously. That was something I noticed when playing it last night.

I am not super sophisticated when it comes to guitars and pickups. My first Lollar purchase was a P-90 pickup that I had placed in the bridge of my Squier Jazzmaster. It sounded sharper and fuller compared to the stock pickup, so I thought I'd purchase Super-Casters to breathe new life into my Johnson, Strat-style guitar. I think they sound great. The variety of tones and sounds of a Strat are really clear and distinct with these pickups, moreso than with the stock pickups. It sounds especially gritty and sharp in the 1st position with just the bridge one going. I can't say much else other than I am glad I got these. It feels like I have a brand new guitar with excellent tone for under $500, so I am happy.
