Product Details:
Our Super-Caster pickup set uses larger magnets and offers wider dynamic range and increased output, with extended harmonics and a robust bottom end. You’ll hear a larger-than-life Strat tone that’s familiar but feels bolder – like a Strat with an extra couple of gears. Super-Casters respond faithfully to picking hand dynamics, with increased harmonic sustain that lingers past what most conventional Strat pickups offer.
Although these pickups are a drop-in replacement for most instruments, due to the larger overall depth of our Super-Caster pickups (0.87 inches) additional routing may be required to ensure the pickups sit into the body far enough for your desired level of string action. Please reach out to our customer service team at [email protected] if you need assistance determining whether these pickups will fit inside your instrument.

Something I forgot to mention in my review is how good the sustain is with these installed. It could be my imagination, but it sure seems like the sustain on my guitar is significantly better than what it was previously. That was something I noticed when playing it last night.

I am not super sophisticated when it comes to guitars and pickups. My first Lollar purchase was a P-90 pickup that I had placed in the bridge of my Squier Jazzmaster. It sounded sharper and fuller compared to the stock pickup, so I thought I'd purchase Super-Casters to breathe new life into my Johnson, Strat-style guitar. I think they sound great. The variety of tones and sounds of a Strat are really clear and distinct with these pickups, moreso than with the stock pickups. It sounds especially gritty and sharp in the 1st position with just the bridge one going. I can't say much else other than I am glad I got these. It feels like I have a brand new guitar with excellent tone for under $500, so I am happy.
