We use wide lap steel string spacing, which is 2.20" from center-to-center to the outside strings.

This is my first Lollar pup. I fell in love with the Bluesy, Delta-ish sound samples for this model from the site. I ordered this pup, switched gears, and put it it a Gibson Century I rebuilt destined to be a C6 general purpose Steel. I was amazed at how good it sounds. Powerful, but crystal clear when you want it to be. My next build will undoubtedly use a Lollar, probably the string through model next. My Century just sounds so much more "alive" and "present" than I though it could.
