Product Details
The Senn Model One was developed at the request of guitar
builder Jeff Senn, who wanted a pickup that offered the tone
of a vintage Guyatone single-coil gold foil pickup. Though our
Senn Model One is a humbucker, it has the clarity and chime of
a single-coil, with a very, very clear and open tone and plenty of
sustain and overtones. Rout dimensions: 3.625" x 1.560".
NOTE: 1/16" and 1/8" shims are available for top mounting.
Avg. DC: Neck 7.3K, Bridge 8.1K (Read about DC resistance)
Recommended Potentiometers: 500k
Recommended Capacitor: 0.022μF

I still have the pair of Senns in an SG Special, using it with a '64 Showman (open-back cab). Doing country and surf in the mode of Jr. Brown, I can't tell the difference from his "Guit-steel's" bridge tone. The pots are dimed on the SG. The Showman is 6vol, 6treb, 2mid, 4bass. Switchng to the neck PU is a bump in treble.
Still loving the Senns.

Ordered on a whim without any expectations . These sound so good . These are the pickups I’ve had in my head for years . Big , full , open , dynamic. These have become my favorite pickups . Present high end without being harsh, . Huge frequency response . I will be ordering more of these . If you like the current gold foil trend , but wish they had a little more “oomph”, you will like these pickups .

I've had a set of the Senns (the router template was labeled "T-Bird") for a month or so in an SG and I absolutely love the the tone. I switch between this guitar, a big-box Gretsch and a Strat. For early American twang, Surf and primal Rock and Roll, they sound fabulous with my Tweed, Brown, Blonde and Blackface amps using rockabilly/Cramps-style signal chains. Very well-balanced as the set— I only use one volume and one tone with the 3-way on the SG.
