Novel CC

I put this in an Eastman AR371 and replaced the Seth Lover that came with it which was too bright and acoustic sounding for my liking. I would recommend using 300k pots and 0.015uf cap if you have a naturally bright guitar. Also, I run this about an eighth lower than where I usually have my humbuckers. This thing really transformed the sound into what I was envisioning for this specific jazz guitar. Sounds incredible when you really dig in and with a soft touch. Very articulate, percussive, and can get fat or bell-y as needed. Thank you Jason and team for a great product.

I have a Lollar Novel CC on a 1959 Gretsch Clipper. For a guitar with one pickup, the Novel CC does everything, It sounds great for jazz, rock and country. The YouTube videos gave the impression that this was a mellow jazz pickup. My experience is totally different. The pickup brings up the highs for rock and country while giving a woody low. This is a beautifully designed pickup.

This pickup has great clarity. I did not experience any hum. I replaced a really nice overwound humbucker in the neck position on a Tele and after a little routing to make the cavity deep enough to adjust the pickup height correctly in my setup, I am delighted with the results. It sounds so good clean and when I dig in a bit I get some beautiful breakup. The bass notes are tight and well defined with no mud, even when comping on strings 6543. There is that special something in the sounds this pickup makes that I can’t really describe. I wish I would have bought this sooner. I highly recommend and suggest using this pickup if you play blues, jazz, folk, bluegrass, etc. and you want some of the best tones available to be at your fingertips.

I have this one in my Tokai LG guitar. I really dig its hotness and articulation. I use alot of gain and play mostly prog rock, but it cuts out through everything with its warm tone. It sounds supern on clean channel to!!!

Absolutely dazzled by my Lollar CC (neck pup in a 335 I built). Clarity and tone are just extraordinary. Worth every penny.

Replaced an already top notch pickup in my archtop with the C.C. humbucker, shooting for a crisper, more incisive, more bell-like tone. I'm overjoyed with the results. It's an unbelievably musical pickup and has also solved some of the balance issues I was having previously with EQ.

i have two of these in my heritage eagle classic, neck and reverse wound bridge..outstanding pickup.
